Certified CMMC Professional — an individual credentialed by the Cyber AB with foundational CMMC knowledge.
A Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) is an individual who has met the Cyber AB's training and examination requirements for foundational CMMC knowledge. The CCP credential is a step on the path to becoming a Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) and is often held by consultants who provide CMMC implementation support without conducting formal assessments.
A CCP can work for an RPO providing consulting services, work for a C3PAO supporting assessment activities (under CCA supervision), or work in-house at a defense contractor as the compliance lead.
